The Chronicles of Nani On Video

I am overcoming my inability to type with my ability to talk (and talk and talk and talk) I'll be posting a video every week on my YouTube channel. I'll be posting those videos here too along with an occasional regular blog in the mix. (As long as my hands are up to doing the extra typing.)

You'll be able to watch the videos here, but I encourage you to stop by my channel at YouTube once I'm up and running to follow me and get my numbers started!

Break Time

It’s lunch break before getting back to my case questions for this week. While I was using the other half of the capicola I bought yesterday at Sofo Foods, our Italian market and the best source for soup-making prosciutto ends in three states, well, the best source known between my Dad, Brother and me, I came up with the hypothetical company for my final paper. Remember that left brain/right brain stuff a couple weeks ago? I accept that I’m totally left brained. I was struggling with trying to figure out what I’d need to research and how the heck will I do it and how will I write 15 pages about setting up a service desk?? When I came up with a hypothetical company and why it needed a new service desk, BAM! What I’d need and where to look for information became clear in my head. I create just fine when there is a reason to create. I even have a layout in my head of what the service desk office will look like.

My Italian Soul Food
sweet capicola and sliced asiago on Italian

I also got really great news about that capicola sandwich. 2 ounces of capicola, an ounce of asiago and a 2 ounce Italian roll is well within my calorie and fat allowance for lunch and well within my Weight Watchers point allowance. Add a sliced bell pepper and some organic carrots and it was tasty, really tasty, and filling. Fat and calorie-wise I could have a capicola sandwich for lunch every day. Of course, the salt from lunch every day will have me in blood pressure trouble and while I love it, capicola and asiago are not cheap! Think I’ll stick to it as a treat!

Barn Charm

One more new meme this week, then I’m going to enjoy the ones I do and not add more. But this one is very me. I take photos of barns all the time when we railfan. Bluff Area Daily hosts Barn Charm. The blog is based in Missouri and Barn Charm welcomes a look at barns from all over! Pretty cool! So this week, I’m going to start with my very favorite local barn.

Perrysburg, Ohio

I took this one a few years ago, back when I could still walk out into the field by the barn to get this shot. It was to take a picture of the water tower, but I just love the barn! Maybe it’s because it’s green, or the composition with the water tower. Semesters when I have on-campus classes, I drive by this barn every class day.

Thanks for looking at my barn! To see more barns, click the Barn Charm icon!

Love the color green. Since doing barn charm I've come across a few colors other than the usual red ones.

I have to agree with everyone else, the green barn is super!! I'm not a green person, but I love this shade and lime. Barns is a popular choice for photography. Wonder why??? Can't wait to see more. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

This barn is so very interesting (and not because it's green! I have seen quite a few that I'm surprised it is considered an unusual colour) but I am intrigued by the lack of windows except for that tiny cutout star and I really like the logo - is that a scythe? I also like what looks like a lattice 'porch'.

That is a great barn, and one of a different color. I think I've only seen one or two green barns around my area and they're faded. lol

Nice shot. :-)
