Growing up, we always had...What great pet stories. Growing up, we always had pets too. My brother and I were always bringing home stray animals. it did not matter to us if they were furry, feathered, or textured. We brought them all home much to my mother's chagrin.<br /><br />I even found a ruby-throated hummingbird once that had a broken wing or leg or something like that. I brought it home, and Daddy built a huge box with a screen front for it to live in while it healed. Finally, the day came when we let it go, and it flew away. <br /><br />I loved the old photo of your grandma. To this day, I have never seen a photo of my grandmother. I'm told she was quite lovely, and I'm named after her.<br /><br />I'm off to the park now, and Miss Tootsie is looking forward to going with me. She loves riding in the car.
