The Chronicles of Nani On Video

I am overcoming my inability to type with my ability to talk (and talk and talk and talk) I'll be posting a video every week on my YouTube channel. I'll be posting those videos here too along with an occasional regular blog in the mix. (As long as my hands are up to doing the extra typing.)

You'll be able to watch the videos here, but I encourage you to stop by my channel at YouTube once I'm up and running to follow me and get my numbers started!

In Only Seven Days

We had “Easter Take 2” at Grandma's this weekend. It was a nice, if late, weekend! I came home with a few albums that I’ll be scanning pictures from for my heritage project. I have a picture of my mom at my Great Grandmother’s house for a holiday dinner. Mom is about 10 years old. There are a number of pictures like that, but what is neat about this one is you can see the buffet that is in our dining room in that photo! A neat testament to how long my buffet has been around! I’ll be spending a chunk of my scrapping time this week scanning the photos I want to use in the book!

Before I left Friday, I mentioned something about a new scrapbook theme kit that would “start” Monday. Start? Huh?

Okay, first a little bit about my theme kits. While my color kits have names that relate to how I “feel” about the colors, I make a point to name my theme kits with a little more inspiration behind them. My theme kits share their names with song titles! “Train, Train” is a song by Blackfoot, from the 80s and “I’m All In,” by Simon Sweet, is more recent. The new theme kit is named for a song by Queen, “In Only Seven Days.”

The song is about finding love on a beach vacation and the kit is great for a beach vacation! “In Only Seven Day” will include a text file with the song’s lyrics, in case you’d like a little extra inspiration to get started. Also a little different, In Only Seven Days will be released in parts. Be sure to come back each day this week to download the next part and in only seven days, you’ll have the whole kit! - 12 papers and 36 Elements!
sorry, link is expired.

In Only Seven Days is a theme kit that also matches the color palatte of the Mix It Up challenge at Scrappin Freestyle. If you like these colors, go there and check out the challenge in the forums! You’ll find more kits and great layouts with these colors.

As always, if you use any of my kits for a layout, I’d love to see it! Please send a link!

Here’s the preview for Part 1(sorry, link is expired)

You get to start with 2 papers, a matching frame and journal block, a tag and 2 word-arts. Be sure to stop by each day this week for a new part of the kit! I’ll have a sample layout for you with Tuesday’s part!

The Monday Mug Shot will be up this evening!
